Residents of Kronkromase in the Ashanti Region were shocked to discover the lifeless body of a newborn girl in the community cemetery.
The baby, believed to be less than a month old, was found early on Sunday, April 5, 2026, at the Kronkromase Cemetery in the Atasomanso Electoral Area.
The Assembly Member for the Atasomanso Electoral Area confirmed the incident to the media, stating that residents reported the discovery after learning about it.
He mentioned that the police have launched an investigation to identify the parents and to determine how the baby came to be abandoned.
