The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) has confirmed the authenticity of a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Business certificate awarded to Samuel Kwadwo Jantuah by Unical University in Zambia.
In a statement issued by the Director General, Prof. Jinapor Abdulai on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, indicated that the certificate had been submitted to the Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC) for evaluation.
Following the assessment, it was verified that the doctorate degree in Business awarded by Unical University is “authentic and comparable to a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) degree in relevant subject area,” from a recognized tertiary institution in Ghana.
The statement noted that additional information regarding the originality could be obtained from GTEC.
