Celebrated musician,Okyeame Kwame, has been appointed as the Feed Ghana Ambassador by the Minister for Food and Agriculture, Eric Opoku.
The announcement was made public by the artiste, on Friday, April 17, 2026, through his social media platforms, where he expressed gratitude and a strong commitment to his new role.
“My biggest present today is that I have been appointed as the Feed Ghana Ambassador by the Honourable Minister of Food and Agriculture, Eric Opoku. I promise to deliver my responsibilities with focus and formidable national pride,” he wrote.
In his message, the award-winning rapper extended appreciation to key individuals who played a role in his appointment, including Lawyer Evans Amankwaa and Chief Director Mr. Paul Siameh, as well as the entire Ministry of Food and Agriculture.
He also reserved special thanks for the President of the Republic of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama, acknowledging his vision and leadership.
The Feed Ghana initiative is expected to benefit from the musician’s influence and advocacy, as he leverages his platform to raise awareness and inspire public participation in agricultural development.
