Ghanaian TikToker, Sheedon, has credited the New Patriotic Party (NPP) for boosting her public image and giving her recognition in the media space.
Speaking during an interview on Experiences in Life on Angel TV, Sheedon revealed that her association with the party played a major role in opening doors for her, including opportunities to appear on television and other platforms.
“The NPP made me famous. If not for the party, I wouldn’t have had the opportunity to go for interviews on shows and other platforms. The party gave me recognition,” she said.
According to the TikToker, her efforts and contributions to the party were eventually acknowledged by its members, who recognized the hard work she put in.
“They realized that what I was doing for them was not easy, so they looked for me and applauded me,” she added.
Despite the recognition, Sheedon clarified that she did not receive any formal or consistent financial support from the party.
“When the NPP was in power, they appreciated me, but they didn’t pay me a monthly salary or anything like that,” she explained.
