Newly appointed Black Stars head coach Carlos Queiroz is set for a grand unveiling in Ghana on Thursday, April 23, 2026, after officially securing the role.
The event, scheduled for 1:00 p.m. at the Alisa Hotel in Accra, will bring together stakeholders of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), the media, and supporters.
The Portuguese trainer will meet the press in what will be his first media engagement following his appointment.
According to the GFA, Queiroz will use the platform to share his vision for the team, outline his technical philosophy, and answer questions from journalists ahead of this summer’s FIFA World Cup.
“The unveiling also provides an opportunity to formally introduce the coach to the Ghanaian public, set expectations for the World Cup campaign, and foster alignment between the technical team, the media, and supporters,” the FA stated.
The former Egypt manager’s contract with Ghana is subject to review based on his performance at the Mundial.
Ghana has been drawn in Group L alongside Panama, England, and Croatia.
