Celebrated actress Nana Ama McBrown has condemned some Ghanaian bloggers for allegedly invading her privacy during the 60th birthday celebration of businessman Dr Ernest Ofori Sarpong.
Dr Ernest Ofori Sarpong, Chairman of the Special Group of Companies, celebrated his milestone birthday on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, with a star-studded dinner attended by top celebrities, business moguls, and political figures.
However, during the event, McBrown expressed frustration over the conduct of some bloggers and content creators who crowded around her with cameras while enjoying the occasion.
In a viral video circulating online, the actress criticized bloggers for such behavior and added that they have failed to support her professional work and endorsements, despite constantly seeking content from her at public events.
“You see me selling American Fresh detergent and McBrown Sunflower. When you see me at Kantamanto and Kejetia promoting products, you see the videos on social media, but you don’t repost them, so I know how you think about me,” she stated.
The actress later lost her patience after some bloggers allegedly interrupted her while she was speaking.
“You people should keep your mouths shut! When we spend money to dress well and attend programs, you want to push cameras into our faces.
“When we are working, you people don’t pay attention to what we do. I work with so many brands to market their products, but I never see you reposting my updates. If you cannot support my work, then this should be the last time bloggers surround me at an event. Next time, I may hit someone,” she warned.
