The Tema Regional Police Command has arrested four students of Ada Senior High Technical School after a video showing a student wielding a cutlass and threatening others on campus went viral on social media.
According to a statement signed by ASP Dede Dzakpasu, Head of Public Affairs, Tema, the incident came to police attention at about 12:10 a.m. on May 22, 2026, after the video was intercepted online.
A night patrol team was immediately dispatched to the school.
With assistance from school authorities, police arrested Raymond Gyamfi (18 years), Oscar Amemoair (18 years), Odartey Wilson (18 years), and one juvenile. All four were identified in the video.
The suspects are currently in police custody and assisting with investigations, the statement said.
The Command advised students to resolve disagreements peacefully through school structures and refrain from violence or intimidation.
It also urged parents and school authorities to strengthen guidance, supervision, and discipline to maintain safety in schools.
Police say investigations are ongoing, and further developments will be communicated in due course.
