Head coach of Black Stars Carlos Queiroz has announced a 28-man squad for the World Cup preparation camp and the international friendly against Wales in Cardiff.
The announcement was released by the Ghana Football Association (GFA) on Monday, May 25, 2026.
The squad includes five goalkeepers, nine defenders, seven midfielders, and seven forwards.

Baba Abdul Rahman returns to the team for the first time since September 2023, with Olympique Lyon winger Ernest Nuamah, also returning having been sidelined by injury for almost a year due to injury
Other notable names include Abdul Mumin, Saint-Étienne midfielder Augustine Boakye; and Stade Rennes defender Alidu Seidu.
According to the GFA, the team began camping in Cardiff on Monday, May 25, ahead of the international friendly against Wales and the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Ghana will start its tournament campaign against Panama before taking on England and Croatia in that order.
