The National Democratic Congress has dismissed reports of a government reshuffle, describing them as deliberate misinformation aimed at “poisoning the atmosphere.”
In a statement issued on Saturday, June 6, 2026 by the party’s National Communication Bureau, Deputy National Communication Officer Godwin Ako Gunn urged the public to disregard any news suggesting changes to the administration’s appointments.
“As we all strive to curb the menace of deliberate misinformation, some individuals will stop at nothing to poison the atmosphere,” the statement read.
The NDC stressed that the official spokesperson for the administration is Felix Kwakye Ofosu and advised the public to verify information through his official channels before sharing it.
The party also cautioned that the Cyber Security Act carries serious implications for false publication, urging citizens to be mindful and responsible in their communication.
