Businessman and Politician Kennedy Ohene Agyapong commemorated his 66th birthday by making generous donations to the Ghana Police Service, Armed Forces, and healthcare facilities.

He donated a pickup truck and fifteen motorcycles to the Ghana Police Service at the Accra Regional Police Headquarters.

Mr. Agyapong also presented similar donations to the Ghana Armed Forces during separate ceremonies through “The Kennedy Foundation” on Tuesday, June 16, 2026.

He stated that mobility is crucial for officers to effectively perform their duties, hence, his contributions as support to the security agencies.

“Proud to support the men and women of the Service,” he indicated in a Facebook post.

In addition to supporting security agencies, the former Assin Central Member of Parliament (MP) donated incubators and medical supplies to 16 hospitals across the country.

“At some point, you stop counting birthdays as ‘another year older’ and start counting them as ‘another year I get to do something useful with.’ The things that don’t make headlines but actually keep people alive,” he noted.

Mr. Agyapong emphasised that this is part of how he marks every birthday now and highlighted that although he has built businesses and served as a parliamentarian, none of that “means much if it doesn’t translate into something real for the people who need it.”

He expressed profound gratitude to his family and team for their support in making this successful.

“So thank you to everyone who made this happen quietly, without fuss. That’s how it should be done.”
