Ghanaian rapper and entrepreneur, Criss Waddle, has responded strongly to spiritual leader Bishop Kwabena Asiamah, popularly known as Ajagurajah, following the latter’s recent revelation about an alleged impending misfortune in the musician’s life.
Speaking during a TikTok Live session, Criss Waddle dismissed Ajagurajah’s request for two cows to perform spiritual rituals aimed at averting the supposed misfortune, insisting that he would not offer him anything.
“Don’t come and pretend that something bad will happen to me. Misfortune happens and it can happen to anyone, so for the cow you want, forget it, you won’t get it. Even chicken wings you won’t get, so forget it,” he said.
The musician questioned Ajagurajah’s spiritual claims, stressing that they both serve the same God and accusing him of misleading the public.
“Don’t come and pretend you are so spiritual and some champion. The God you are serving is the same God I’m also serving. Don’t come and lie to anyone,” he stated.
Criss Waddle further acknowledged that no one is immune to life’s uncertainties, noting that anything could happen to anyone regardless of status or profession.
According to him, he is fully prepared to face whatever challenges may come his way and does not believe anyone should use fear-based prophecies to seek attention or favors.
The rapper also addressed assumptions about his personality, warning against mistaking his low social media presence for weakness.
“Or because I don’t post online, you think what you’ve heard about me from people isn’t true? I’m rough, I’m stubborn. So don’t feel like you are too big to apologize when you’re wrong. When you’re wrong, you’re wrong,” he said.
Criss Waddle further criticized Ajagurajah for taking the matter to social media instead of contacting him directly, claiming the spiritual leader had multiple ways of reaching him.
“You even have my number. Even if you don’t, there are ways to get my number. Why do you have to go to the internet if you have a message for me? Do I live on the internet? How many times do I even come online?” he questioned.
“There are a million ways to reach out to me even if you don’t have my contact. You could have come online and made a video asking for my number if anyone had it, the same way you came online to say you saw a misfortune about me,” he added.
The rapper concluded by expressing confidence in his relationship with God, insisting that he does not need anyone to interpret divine messages on his behalf.
“Are you the one to tell me what God has said to you? I have a covenant with God. Whatever I discuss with Him happens exactly as it is,” Criss Waddle stated.
