Gordon Asare-Bediako has unveiled his campaign team as he seeks to become the next Communications Director of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
The team was announced in a statement issued on Friday, June 26, 2026, under the campaign slogan, ‘Asem Pa Ye Tia’ (Good News is Short).
According to the statement, the team brings together experienced political strategists, communicators, and administrative experts to run an issues-based campaign focused on a robust, transparent, and forward-looking communications strategy for the NPP.
Seth Kwame Acheampong will serve as Campaign Chairman, with Seth Adu-Adjei as Campaign Manager. Dr. Elvis Botah and Nana Mprah Besemuna Prince are Electoral Affairs Managers. Nana Yaw Sarpong is Communications Manager, while Oheneba Nana Asiedu is Media Liaison. Adjoa Agyemang-Duah will handle Events and Programs, and Juliet Nana Ama Asante is Administrator.
The campaign said the list is not exhaustive and that additional portfolios will be announced as it builds a “formidable and well-coordinated team.”
Speaking on the announcement, Mr. Asare-Bediako said he is “incredibly honored to have such a distinguished group of individuals leading my campaign.”
He added that their expertise and dedication to the NPP “will be invaluable as we work towards securing the mandate to lead the party’s communications.”
The ‘Asem Pa Ye Tia’ campaign says it will be built on effective messaging, grassroots engagement, and projecting the NPP’s achievements and future agenda “with clarity and conviction.”
The team says it is ready to engage delegates and party faithful across the country.
