President John Dramani Mahama will today begin a two-day working tour of the Central Region under his #ResettingGhana agenda, aimed at bringing governance closer to the people through direct engagement with residents and stakeholders.
The President’s first stop is Assin Bereku in the Assin North District, where he is expected to address a durbar of chiefs and people and cut the sod for a new “24-hour economy market,” a flagship initiative of his administration.
Accompanied by key sector ministers and government appointees, President Mahama will also inspect four ongoing road projects in the region as part of efforts to assess progress on critical infrastructure.
Angel News Presidential Correspondent, Mubarak Yakubu, is travelling with the President and will provide updates on the President’s engagements across the region over the two days.
