Ghanaian Fashion designer, and founder of The Cultured Man (Nateev), Michael Brett Odoom, has suffered significant losses after floodwaters entered his factory at Tse Addo, a suburb of Accra, following Monday’s heavy rains.
The flood damaged several items in the factory, including sewing machines, finished suits, branded souvenirs, and other equipment, after water swept through the premises.
In a video circulating online, Odoom revealed that all of his sewing machines had been damaged. He also disclosed that several items belonging to his clients were destroyed after the factory was inundated.
Expressing his frustration over the incident, the fashion designer said he was uncertain about how to rebuild his business after the devastating loss. He added that he had informed his clients about the situation and the destruction of many of their belongings.
