The Ministry of Health has announced that recruitment for the 36th batch of Medical Officers and Dental Officers will commence on Wednesday, July 8, 2026.

According to a public announcement dated July 2, 2026, the exercise is for the 36th batch of Medical Officers and Dentists who have completed their house job and have been verified by the Medical and Dental Council.

It added that qualified applicants are required to apply through the Ministry of Health’s online recruitment portal and follow the instructions to select their preferred district for posting.

The Ministry said available vacancies are under the Ghana Health Service (GHS), Christian Health Association of Ghana (CHAG), Ahmadiyya, and the Mental Health Authority.

The application deadline is scheduled for Wednesday, July 15, 2026, at 6:00 p.m, the sector indicated.

The Ministry advised applicants to be cautious of individuals who may claim to offer assistance for a fee, stressing that the recruitment process remains transparent and that applicants should not make any payment as part of the process.

According to the announcement, members of the 34th and 35th batches of Medical and Dental Officers who applied but did not report may also participate in the exercise.
