The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has deployed national representatives to all regions to supervise and oversee the upcoming Regional Executive Elections.
In a statement dated Thursday, July 9, 2026 and signed by General Secretary Justin Kodua Frimpong, the National Secretariat said the deployment is in line with approved guidelines governing the conduct of the elections.
The letter, addressed to all Regional Executive Committees and copied to the National Executive Committee, noted that each region has been assigned National Representatives who will act on behalf of the national party.
According to the statement, the representatives are tasked with ensuring strict adherence to the approved electoral guidelines, transparency and fairness in the electoral process, and timely reporting of proceedings as well as any irregularities.
The National Secretariat said it expects all Regional Executive Elections Committees to demonstrate diligence, professionalism, discipline, and commitment in delivering a credible, orderly, and transparent electoral process nationwide.
The General Secretary also indicated that a list of the designated National Representatives for each region has been attached for the attention of the regional executives.
The NPP’s regional executive elections are part of the party’s internal reorganization ahead of future national polls.
