The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has directed all members to actively participate in the nationwide General Cleaning Exercise declared by President John Dramani Mahama.

In a statement signed by the General Secretary, Justin Kodua Frimpong on Thursday, July 9, 2026, the party said the exercise is scheduled for Friday, July 10, and Saturday, July 11.

The NPP said the directive forms part of its commitment to environmental sanitation, civic responsibility, and national development.

“In view of the party’s Constituency Elections on Saturday, July 11, 2026, members are encouraged to participate in the cleaning exercise immediately after casting their ballots, as voting is conducted on a walk-in basis,” the statement added.

The Party called on all members to demonstrate their unwavering commitment by turning out in their numbers to support the national effort.
