Black Stars defender Gideon Mensah has completed a transfer to German Bundesliga club FC Köln on a two-year contract.
According to transfer expert Florian Plettenberg, the deal was finalised after both parties reached full agreement.
“Gideon Mensah to FC Köln – done deal. Full agreement now reached,” the German football expert reported on X.

The Ghanaian international, who arrives as a free agent from French side AJ Auxerre, has signed a contract running until 2028.
The German side has officially confirmed that the left-back has joined after he underwent successful medicals on Friday, July 10, 2026.
Mensah, 27, was part of Ghana’s squad during their disappointing campaign at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
