Black Stars defender Gideon Mensah has reportedly completed a transfer to German Bundesliga club FC Köln on a three-year contract.
According to transfer expert Florian Plettenberg, the deal was finalised after both parties reached full agreement.
“Gideon Mensah to FC Köln – done deal. Full agreement now reached,” the German football expert reported on X.
The Ghanaian international, who arrives as a free agent from French side AJ Auxerre, has signed a contract running until 2029.
The left-back is expected to undergo mandatory medicals before the close of Friday, July 10, 2026.
Mensah, 27, was part of Ghana’s squad during their disappointing campaign at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
