Award-winning Ghanaian disc jockey, DJ Vyrusky, has offered his perspective on why several individuals who have worked with dancehall artiste Shatta Wale eventually move on.
He stressing that the musician’s firm working style is frequently misinterpreted.
He maintained that there is nothing out of the ordinary about people exiting Shatta Wale’s team, noting that changing jobs is a common occurrence in every profession.
Speaking during an interview, DJ Vyrusky portrayed Shatta Wale as a focused and principled personality who expects those around him to uphold the same level of professionalism.
“I always tell people that Shatta Wale is a no-nonsense guy. People come and work with Shatta and they leave.
It’s normal, but I don’t know why people make it a big deal because you, the one complaining, used to work at Company A and now you’re in Company B, but you have a problem with the fact that someone works with Shatta and they stopped working,” he said.
The renowned DJ further explained that Shatta Wale prefers projects to be carried out according to his own vision, allowing little flexibility when it comes to how responsibilities are executed.
“Shatta wants things to be done his way. Sometimes, you think you want to do your things in a way, but no, he would want to do it how he wants it,” DJ Vyrusky stated.
He also commended the award-winning artiste’s commitment to his craft, describing him as exceptionally structured and disciplined qualities he believes are responsible for Shatta Wale’s impressive output.
“Everything about him is discipline and principles.
When it comes to work, he’s so organised and very disciplined. How does he come up with six songs a day,” he questioned.
