A commercial motorcycle rider sustained a severe head injury during a fight between two colleagues at Jasikan in the Oti Region.
According to reports, the victim was injured while attempting to separate the two riders, who were allegedly fighting over a passenger.
All efforts to remove the key from his skull proved futile on the day of the incident, Wednesday, July 22, 2026.
He was initially rushed to a nearby health facility before being referred to the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital.
However, Angel News reporter Caleb Ali indicated that the victim is currently hospitalised at the 37 Military Hospital receiving specialist care.
The suspect who allegedly struck the rider in the head has been picked up by the police to assist with ongoing investigations.
