Chief of Staff Julius Debrah has graduated with a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Museum and Heritage Studies from the University of Ghana.
Dr. Debrah was among the graduands at the University’s July 2026 congregation after successfully completing his doctoral studies with a research focus on “Community Heritage and Tourism Development in Kwahu, Ghana.”
The PhD marks another academic milestone for the Chief of Staff, who previously obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Archaeology and Sociology as well as a Master’s degree in Archaeology and Heritage Studies from the University of Ghana.
His research explored the role of community heritage in promoting tourism development and preserving Ghana’s cultural heritage.
The graduation ceremony brought together graduates, university officials, family members and dignitaries to celebrate the achievements of students who successfully completed various postgraduate programmes.
Dr. Debrah’s latest academic achievement has attracted congratulatory messages from colleagues, political figures and well-wishers, who have praised his commitment to higher education while serving in public office.
