A fire involving a laundry, a bakery, and a provision shop broke out at East Legon near Trassaco on Saturday afternoon, July 25.
The Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) responded swiftly and brought the fire under control before it could spread further.
According to eyewitnesses and officials on the scene, the provision shop was partially damaged in the blaze.
However, adjoining homes, a transformer, and other nearby structures were successfully salvaged by firefighters.
No casualties have been reported. The cause of the fire is yet to be determined, and investigations are ongoing.
Authorities have urged residents and business owners in the area to observe proper fire safety measures to prevent similar incidents.
