The Black Queens will start their campaign at the 2026 CAF Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) in Morocco on Wednesday, July 29.
They will face Cape Verde in the opening Group D match at Moulay Rachid Stadium, scheduled for 17:00 GMT.
They will continue their campaign on August 2 and August 6, facing Cameroon and Mali, respectively.
The Queens enter the tournament in high spirits after weeks of intensive preparations, including a successful pre-tournament training camp and friendly matches.
Coach Kim Lars Björkegren’s team is eager to make a strong start to their campaign, aiming to improve on their third-place finish in the 2024 edition.
