The Angel Broadcasting Network (ABN) has announced a 50% flat discount for all businesses advertising on Angel TV and Angel 102.9FM, Accra.
The package, which was announced by the Marketing Manager for ABN, Samuel Owusu Adjei, on Angel FM’s ‘Anɔpa Bɔfoɔ’, runs from now until the end of December 2026 and covers both existing and prospective clients following the stations’ recent unplanned hiatus.
According to Mr Owusu Adjei, the initiative is aimed at compensating clients for the unexpected break while supporting businesses to promote their products and services during the final quarter of the year.
As part of the package, clients who advertise with the stations will receive bonus airtime after their advertising contracts expire. Existing clients will also benefit from additional discounts and bonus packages upon renewal.
In addition to the 50% flat discount, Angel TV and Angel 102.9FM are introducing a new initiative under which presenters will visit clients at their workplaces to showcase and promote their products, particularly ahead of the end-of-year sales season.
Management disclosed that all commercials aired during the week of the hiatus were broadcast free of charge as part of efforts to support clients.
Businesses, shops, companies and individuals interested in advertising on Angel TV, Angel 102.9 FM and the stations’ social media platforms can contact 0242176084 for enquiries and bookings.
Meanwhile, management has apologised to clients for the unexpected interruption in transmission, explaining that the break was unplanned and could not be announced in advance.
It assured clients that lessons have been learnt from the incident and pledged to improve communication and prevent a recurrence.
