The Member of Parliament for Akuapem South, Lawrencia Dziwornu, has urged members of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the constituency to put aside their differences and work together to further strengthen the party.
She observed that unity and togetherness are the foundation for building a stronger and better NDC in the area.
Her message comes in the wake of the constituency’s internal elections, which saw party members elect new leaders to steer the affairs of the NDC in Akuapem South.
The MP commended all participants for their dedication and commitment throughout the electoral process.
Madam Dziwornu encouraged aspirants who were unsuccessful in their bids not to lose hope, stressing that their contributions to the growth and success of the party remain invaluable.
“To those who did not emerge successful this time, do not be discouraged. Your contribution to our party remains important,” she said in her congratulatory message.
The Akuapem South MP emphasised the need for unity after the elections and noted that despite contesting different positions, party members share a common objective of building a stronger NDC and promoting the development of the constituency.
“We may have contested for different positions, but our mission is one: to build a stronger NDC and a better Akuapem South. Let us put the elections behind us, unite as one family and continue working together towards our shared goals,” she urged.
Madam Dziwornu’s call for unity is expected to reinforce cohesion within the party as it focuses on advancing its agenda and strengthening its presence across the constituency.
