The Assin Central Parliamentary Candidate on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Nurein Shaibu Migyimah, has downplayed charges of immorality linked to his six-month suspension from party-related activities.
Though the party in a statement dated Thursday, June 27, cited “Inter-Party misconduct and immorality” as the reason for his suspension, some party faithful within the Assin Central area attributed it solely to ‘immorality.’
Some have also alleged that the suspended Parliamentary Candidate is known to be allegedly engaged in extramarital affair with the wife of a constituency executive of the party.
But, to Nurein Shaibu Migyimah, it is absolutely false.
“God gave me everything, handsomeness, wealthier, knowledge, and other qualities so if I have all these attributes why would I even go to that extent?
“I don’t want to go into the matter because the party’s leadership will make the outcome of their investigation publicly,” he said on the morning show on Angel TV.
He revealed he already has two wives and he could add two more if necessary therefore, he does not see it the to sleep another married woman.
“I have two wives…. and I will be adding two more to make it four if God permits and that would be made possible.”
According to him, although he takes the allegations leveled against him lightly, his Muslim doctrine kicked against the act, and would never engage in such a deviant manner.
Nurein Shaibu Migyimah stressed, “After the conclusion of the investigation, there, we will all get to know the real enemy behind this.”
He reposted his confidence in the Functional Executive Committee that they will comply with the party’s constitution accordingly amid their findings.
