In a heartwarming act of generosity, the Director of Operations at Angel Broadcasting Network, Bismark Apeanti, also known as Nana Apeanti, has, on behalf of ABN, presented an amount of twenty-six thousand and fifty Ghana cedis (GHC 26,050) to a young child named Little Pearl, a whole in heart patient.
The amount was raised by the media brand following appeals to listeners / viewers to help with the operation of the little girl who needs $7,000 for a life-saving surgery to repair a hole in her heart at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital.
Nana Apeanti explained that the company felt a moral obligation to step in and help the child.
“At Angel Broadcasting Network, we believe in the power of giving back to the community so when we heard about Pearl’s situation, we knew we had to act. We reached out to our listeners, and their response was overwhelming,” Nana Apeanti said
The funds raised will go a long way in covering the costs of Pearl’s surgery and post-operative care.
Nana Apeanti expressed his gratitude to all the listeners who contributed to the cause and stressed the importance of coming together to support those in need.
“Pearl’s story touched our hearts, and we are so grateful to everyone who donated. This is a testament to the incredible generosity of our listeners and the strength of our community. Together, we can make a real difference in people’s lives,” he said.
Pearl’s family, Mr. and Mrs. Ampofo, were overjoyed and deeply moved by the support from Angel Broadcasting Network and its listeners.
They expressed their heartfelt gratitude for the assistance, which brings them one step closer to ensuring Pearl receives the medical care she desperately needs.
The accountant at Angel FM, Kennedy Ennin who was present to witness the presentation of the money, stated that as Pearl prepares for her surgery, the entire community is hopeful and united in their prayers for her successful recovery.
