Akufo-Addo’s secretary falls sick in USA after UN meeting

Secretary to the President, Nana Asante Bediatuo has been admitted to a hospital in the United States of America (USA) after falling ill.

A statement from the Jubilee House and signed by the Director of Communication at the Presidency, Nana Asante Bediatuo communicated that he was admitted at the unnamed medical facility in the States after he fell ill while on government business.

“He is currently in stable condition and responding well to treatment. According to the medical team, Nana Bediatuo Asante’s recovery is on track and we remain hopeful for his swift return to full strength…,” a statement from the Presidency read in party.

The statement brings to an end rumours on social media which suggested that the scribe of the President had kicked the bucket.
