A senior communication member for the Movement for Change, Solomon Owusu, has stated that President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has collapsed the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
According to him, President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo ought to be blamed for Dr. Bawumia’s defeat in the December 7 polls.
Mr. Owusu affirmed that the poor economy and corruption under President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s government caused the NPP to lose the election adding that the party’s inability to combat corruption contributed to their defeat.
Mr. Owusu highlighted that Dr. Bawumia should not be exempt from blame as he believes that the Vice President failed to supervise a revival of the economy.
“When we need one corporate person to blame for the bad economy in the country, Dr. Bawumia is the one we should tag because he is the midfielder of President Akufo-Addo’s administration, but we should not place all the blame on Nana Addo,” Solomon Owusu explained.
