The hardships endured by Ghanaians under the New Patriotic Party (NPP) administration will be a decisive factor in the upcoming 2024 elections, a former Greater Accra Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Joseph Ade-Coker, has asserted.

According to him, the electorate’s experiences of economic challenges, including high inflation, and increased cost of living, will influence their voting decisions.

Chairman Ade-Coker emphasized, that would be a deciding factor in the election slated for December 7, 2024.
Talking about the key forces from the camps of the presidential candidates ahead of the exercise, the NDC former Chairman criticized the NPP government for deploying what he termed as a “political gimmick” amid their last-minute project inaugurations.
He believed that while the NPP sought to use the approach to gain political points, its actions also intended to cover its shortcomings.
However, Chairman Ade-Coker said the abysmal performance of the NPP’s administration in office cannot be overlooked.
“The fact of the matter is that the standard of living has become so hard and that is the reality,” he said while elaborating on the President Akufo-Addo and Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia-led administration of economic mismanagement.
“December 7 is just around the corner, so when you go to the polls, kindly vote according to your standard of living on how you survived endless hardship under a seven and half year’s governance under the NPP,” he advised Ghanaians on the Angel Morning Show.
Chairman Ade-Coker strongly shares the view that there will be a change in government, with the NDC taking over to save the country from further collapse under the supervision of the NPP.
