The National Youth Organiser of the New Patriotic party (NPP), Henry Nana Boakye popularly known as Nana B has called on the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and its Presidential Candidate, John Dramani Mahama to name a single policy which he introduced while in government which has a national appeal.

Speaking on Angel Morning Show on Tuesday, November 12, 2024, Nana B said John Mahama cannot boast of any single policy he introduced while in government which has a national appeal.

“Tell me just one policy of the NDC that has sparked interest among Ghanaians for us to applaud them…there is none,” he said.

Nana B continued by highlighting a series of policies under the current NPP administration that has improved the lives and eased the burden on Ghanaians.

He pointed to flagship policies like the Free SHS program, the One District One Factory (1D1F) initiative, the expansion of road networks, Agenda 111 for healthcare infrastructure, and the revamping of the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) as among the many policies which the NPP has introduced to transform the fortunes of Ghanaians.

These policies, he added, have contributed in no small measure to “alleviate the hardships” on citizens nationwide.

Nana B mocked the Mahama-led government for policies he said contributed to economic strain including SHS school fees, “dumsor” (persistent power outages), and what he called a “collapse of businesses” without job creation.
