The National Organiser of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Henry Nana Boakye, better known as Nana B, has warned Ghanaians against casting their votes for the presidential candidate of the Movement for Change, Alan Kyerematen.

He stated that a vote for the presidential hopeful would be a wasted vote and hence urged the electorates to keep that in mind to avoid wasting their votes when exercising their franchise.

Speaking in a one-on-one interview with Okatakyie Afrifa-Mensah on the Angel Morning Show, Nana B expressed his belief that there was no way Alan Kyerematen’s presidential ambitions would come to fruition.

“Everyone knows that a vote for Alan Kyeremanten is a wasted vote because everyone knows that he is not going to win. Alan will and can never win the 2024 elections,” he said in Twi on Tuesday, November 12, 2024.

He stated emphatically “Alan Kyerematen cannot win the elections, I repeat, he will not win.”

Nana B’s assertion was in response to a question from the host about whether Alan Kyerematen’s crowd-pulling campaign in the Ashanti Region would impact the NPP’s chances of winning the region.

In his response, the NPP’s National Organiser stated that the former NPP member cannot pose a threat to the ruling party, describing the situation as “comparing apples to oranges.”

“The NPP will continue to reign and will show its supremacy by winning the Ashanti Region,” Nana B said.

According to the vibrant politician, the NPP, as a family, is superior to any individual therefore Alan’s exit from the party would not negatively affect them.

“The fact of the matter is that the NPP is big and huge, and it’s important to understand that the party has done no wrong to Alan Kyerematen. Therefore, the party must move on,” Nana B stated further.
