A former National Organizer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Yaw Boating Gyan, has urged party supporters to uphold the discipline and values that the NDC stands for.

Mr. Gyan emphasized that the NDC is a law-abiding party, and it is crucial for its members to reflect this commitment to legality and order.

His comments follow reports of widespread looting and unlawful takeovers of state offices by some NDC supporters across the country.

Condemning the incidents in an interview with Saddick Adams on the Angel Morning Show, the senior NDC member reminded the party of its responsibility to the people of Ghana.

Mr. Gyan further described the incidents as unacceptable and stressed the importance of demonstrating to Ghanaians that the NDC is a party that respects and abides by the country’s laws.

“We must put an end to this behavior so that people will recognize that they voted for a party that understands and respects the laws of this country,” he added.

To deter those who may disregard his call, he expressed his willingness to collaborate with law enforcement agencies to arrest any individuals engaging in illegal activities.
