The Concerned Farmers Association of Ghana has cautioned the general public, especially farmers and stakeholders, to exercise extreme caution in engaging with a group calling itself the Ghana National Association of Farmers (GNAFF).

In a stern warning, the Concerned Farmers stated that GNAFF is an unknown group operating without “constitutional authority” and described their actions as “criminal.”

“We urge you to distance yourselves from their activities and refrain from engaging with them in any manner. As the legitimate voice of farmers, we emphasize our commitment to promoting agricultural development and protecting the interests of our members.

We will not tolerate any attempts to undermine our efforts or exploit the goodwill of farmers,” the association warned in a statement copied to all regional and district directors of agriculture.

The statement also advised all farmers to be vigilant and report any suspicious activities to the relevant authorities, in the best interest of all farmers, amid efforts to build a strong and resilient agricultural sector free from manipulation and exploitation.
