Angelonline.com.gh presents confirmed list of all 33 of President’s nominees for position of Municipal and District Chief Executives (MDCEs) in Eastern Region.
Confirmations overseen by members of respective assemblies through separate electoral processes, with each nominee securing two-thirds majority vote.
Confirmation process spearheaded by Regional Coordinating Council in collaboration with Regional Executives of National Democratic Congress (NDC).
It culminated in swearing-in ceremonies conducted separately under supervision of Eastern Regional Minister, Rita Akosua Adjei Awatey.
In all 33 assemblies, nominees comprising 26 males and six females received massive approval from assembly members.
This development follows nationwide release of MMDA nominees by President John Dramani Mahama for positions of Metropolitan, Municipal and District Assemblies.
