A 75-year-old farmer, Ibrahim Laa, has been tragically murdered at Manso Deduako in the Amansie South District of the Ashanti Region.
The deceased, a father of three, was discovered lifeless, with residents suspecting that he was stabbed by his assailants.
The Assembly Member, Gyawu Emmanuel, who declined to speak on camera, stated that the incident occurred on Tuesday, May 27, 2025.
According to Mr Gyawu, one suspect has been apprehended in connection with the murder and is currently in police custody, assisting with investigations.
The body of the deceased has been conveyed to Saint Martin’s Hospital at Agroyesum for an autopsy.
