Angel Ashiamah, the husband of jailed evangelist and founder of Heaven Way Champions International Church, Patricia Asiedu (popularly known as Nana Agradaa), has vowed to remain faithful to her during her 15-year prison sentence at the Nsawam Prisons.
He pledged in response to public skepticism over whether he could remain celibate and avoid extra-marital affairs throughout his wife’s incarceration.
Speaking before a church congregation over the weekend, Ashiamah declared his firm commitment, stating that he is fully prepared to forgo all conjugal rights during this period.
He further explained that it would not be a difficult task, recalling that he remained celibate for 25 years before breaking his virginity. According to him, enduring another decade and more is well within his ability.
“Following this issue at hand, people keep asking me, can you withstand this by staying idle? And I quizzed, how can’t I live within that period? Forgetting that from when I was conceived until I was 25 years old, I did not engage in sexual activities.
“If I were able to stand up to that stage, then I state categorically that I can withstand the same storm, even if it’s 15 years… I can still stand,” Angel Asiamah said in a viral video.
