The family of the late Ghanaian music legend, Charles Kwadwo Fosu widely known as Daddy Lumba, has cautioned individuals and media outlets spreading defamatory or unverified claims about the icon.
In a press statement dated August 1, 2025, their legal representatives said anyone with genuine and verifiable concerns should submit them for amicable resolution.
However, they cautioned that those who persist in publishing misleading content will face legal consequences.
“We also serve notice and caution all individuals or media outlets who continue to publish defamatory, unverified or misleading contents about the late Daddy Lumba to desist from such acts or will be held legally accountable,” the family warned.
The statement urges the public to show respect and decorum as the nation prepares to bid farewell to one of its most celebrated musicians.
