MultiChoice Ghana has confirmed its engagement with the Ministry of Communication and Digitalisation over recent developments regarding the possible revocation of its operational license due to high subscription fees.

It disclosed that active talks are currently ongoing between both parties to resolve the matter.

The disclosure from MultiChoice Ghana comes at a time when the Ministry of Communication and Digitalisation has threatened to revoke the company’s operating license in the country should it fail to reduce its subscription prices by August 7, 2025.

“The MCG Board and the MultiChoice Group continues to engage with the Minister and any new updates would be communicated to staff,” Managing Director Alex Okyere stated.
