Controversial actress and social commentator, Afia Schwarzenegger, has taken a swipe at President John Dramani Mahama, raising serious concerns about the state of security in the country.
During a TikTok live session on Wednesday, August 6, 2025, Afia Schwarzenegger questioned whether the President was delivering on his promises, as she claimed the country had become increasingly unsafe under his leadership.
“Ghana currently is one of the most dangerous countries to be in, whether you are a citizen or a foreigner,” she said during the live.
“I question John Mahama: Are the children of Ghana safe under your regime? Is this the Ghana you promised Ghanaians?”
Her comments come in the wake of a recent shooting incident in Madina, which has sparked fear among residents. She also cited what she says is an alarming rise in kidnapping cases as further proof of the worsening security situation in the country.
