The Progressive People’s Party (PPP) believes that the eight fallen victims of the helicopter crash who died in active service should not be forgotten, considering their sacrifice and dedication to the nation.
Expressing its deepest sorrow over the deaths in a statement issued on August 7, 2025, the PPP said the deceased were not merely public figures.
However, it stressed that these were sons of mother Ghana whose courage and commitment must be remembered.
“Their dedication, courage, and patriotism must never be forgotten,” the statement read.
The PPP extended condolences to the bereaved families, the President of the Republic, the National Democratic Congress, and the Ghana Armed Forces, affirming its solidarity in this moment of national grief.
The party encouraged all Ghanaians to honour the memory of the fallen by recommitting to peace, security, and national cohesion.
“May their families find comfort in the collective embrace of a grateful nation,” the statement added.
