The National House of Chiefs has issued a solemn tribute to the victims of the tragic helicopter crash that claimed the lives of top government officials and military officers on official assignment.
The House expressed deep sorrow over the incident, describing it as a profound national loss and extended condolences to the Government of Ghana, the Ghana Armed Forces, the National Democratic Congress (NDC), and the bereaved families.
“Their immense sacrifices, loyalty, commitment, and unwavering dedication to public service will not be forgotten,” the statement read.
The House called on the government, corporate institutions, diplomatic missions, traditional authorities, religious organizations, and the general public to offer support to the affected families in any acceptable form.
The tribute concluded with prayers for the souls of the departed and comfort for their families.
