Two TikTokers reported to have threatened President John Dramani Mahama and First Lady Lordina Mahama have been nabbed by the police.
The suspects, Prince Ofori and Yayra Abiwu, were arrested on Tuesday, August 12, 2025.
According to a police statement, they are being investigated for a viral TikTok video in which an individual is heard threatening the lives of the President and his spouse.
The Police announced that the suspects are in custody, assisting with the investigation following their arrest.
The Service said efforts are underway to get other persons believed to be connected to the video to assist the investigation process.
