Asante Kotoko has completed the signing of Walid Neymar Fuseini, securing the talented midfielder on a three-year deal after a successful medical assessment.
According to the club, Fuseini, 25, arrives with a wealth of experience and tactical flexibility, capable of operating in central midfield, advanced attacking positions, and from the right flank.
Asante Kotoko announced the capture of the player and expressed its delight in welcoming Walid Fuseni to the Porcupine family.
Speaking to the club media, Fuseini shared his excitement and determination to join the Reds.
“This is the moment I’ve been waiting for. Playing for a club of Kotoko’s stature is a dream, and I believe my qualities can have a real impact here. I’m eager to contribute immediately, especially with the return to Africa.
“The expectations are high, but I do well under pressure. I want to prove that I belong at the very top, and there’s no better place to do that than at Asante Kotoko if you want to play in Ghana,” he stated, quoted by Kumasi Asante Kotoko.
Walid Neymar Fuseini’s addition is expected to bolster Kotoko’s squad depth ahead of upcoming domestic and continental campaigns.
With 81 Ghana Premier League appearances and four outings in the CAF Confederation Cup, Fuseini brings proven pedigree and resilience to Porcupine Warriors. His journey began at Bolga All Stars, where he quickly earned recognition for his technical prowess and dynamic style of play.
Kotoko fans will be eager to see how Fuseini integrates into the squad and contributes to the club’s ambitions both locally and on the continental stage for the 2025/26 season.
