The Black Queens will face Egypt in a crucial two-legged qualifier for the 2026 Africa Women’s Cup of Nations (WAFCON), with fixtures confirmed for later this month.
The women’s national team will travel to Suez for the first leg on Thursday, October 23, 2025, at the Ismailia–Suez Canal Stadium, with kickoff at 4:00 PM local time.
The return fixture is scheduled for Tuesday, October 28, at the Accra Sports Stadium, kicking off at 3:30 PM.
Coach Kim Björkegren’s side will be looking to continue their fine run of form and secure early qualification to the continental showpiece.
The Queens, who have shown remarkable improvement in recent months, are determined to maintain their dominance and return to the WAFCON stage with renewed confidence.
Black Queens secured a bronze medal at the 2024 WAFCON held in Morocco after defeating South Africa on penalties in the third and fourth place match.
