Veteran Ghanaian highlife musician, Kaakyire Kwame Appiah, has openly revealed that he has fathered eighteen (18) children with nine (9) different women, and he has no intentions of stopping anytime soon.
Speaking in an interview on Okay FM, the “Bronya” hitmaker confidently stated that he sees no reason to hide the truth about his large family, as he takes pride in being open about his life.
“I have eighteen children with nine women and I’m not done yet. I know people will criticize me but what will I gain from hiding it? This is me. I won’t die for someone to come out and tell people I had these number of children,” he said.
Kaakyire added that despite having children with multiple women, his family is closely bonded.
“My children all know themselves. When you see them together, you would think it’s one woman who gave birth to them. I will never be shy about it,” he stated proudly.
The highlife star further revealed that his youngest child is only 4 months old and emphasized that his ability to have many children is simply a blessing from God.
“My last born is just four months old, and I don’t take any concoctions. The thing is when God blesses you, then He has really blessed you,” he said, adding that, “Others want but they don’t get, so since I’m young and I’m not dead, I can give birth as many times as I want.”
