A fatal accident occurred on Monday, November 10, 2025 at Kwasu, along the Bechem-Techimantia road in the Ahafo Region, resulting in the loss of two lives, while six individuals are currently receiving medical treatment.
According to the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS), a rescue team of seven, led by ASTNO Kwaku Doe, was dispatched to the scene, where a Toyota Voxy with registration number AS 6403-25 was involved in the crash.
Out of eight occupants, two were found dead at the scene and handed over to the Police, while six others were rescued and transported to the Bechem Government Hospital by the National Ambulance Service for treatment.
The GNFS is investigating the cause of the accident, and has noted that the affected vehicle suffered massive damage.
