The Deputy Director of Elections of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mahdi Gibril, has commended President John Dramani Mahama’s call for the involvement of faith-based organizations in the Agenda 111 projects.

He cited the lack of dedicated funding as a key factor that has stalled the completion of the facilities as originally planned.

Mr. Mahdi explained that the President’s approach to involve faith-based organizations will help expedite the process and ensure timely completion.

“The project didn’t have dedicated funds but they can’t be abandoned. So engaging the faith based organizations is a good way,” he noted, speaking on the Angel Morning Show (AMS) on Tuesday, November 20, 2025.

He emphasized that faith-based organizations have made significant contributions to various developmental projects in the country, noting that their participation is driven not by personal gain but by a collective effort to support Ghanaians.

“The involvement of faith-based organizations is not for personal gain but stems from the need to support the central government and Ghanaians at large,” he stated.

Mr. Mahdi further urged organizations to support the government’s initiatives in building social interventions, stressing that strong developmental structures will serve as a solid foundation for the country’s future progress.
