Three separate road crashes have resulted in 10 fatalities and numerous injuries.
The accidents occurred at Mampong Abuontem, Anyinam-Enyiresi, and Kpando-Aziave in the Ashanti, Eastern and Volta regions, respectively.

In Mampong Abuontem, a head-on collision between a Toyota Coaster minibus and an Opel Astra left five people dead and 30 injured, with four of the injured in critical condition at the Mampong Government Hospital.

At Anyinam-Enyiresi, a collision between a Toyota Hiace and a Honda Pilot resulted in two fatalities and 13 injuries. The accident occurred when the Toyota Hiace attempted a wrongful overtaking and lost control, veering into the path of the oncoming Honda Pilot.

In Kpando-Aziave, a head-on collision between a Howo Tipper Truck and a Daewoo Matiz left three people dead, six injured, and one unharmed.

The Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) responded swiftly to the emergencies, rescuing trapped victims and clearing the scenes to restore traffic flow.
