The Inspector-General of Police, Mr Christian Tetteh Yohuno, announced the promotion of Thirteen (13) Senior Police Officers who distinguished themselves in the performance of duty.
In a police statement, it said the promotion is in line with the Police Administration’s commitment to reward “courage, sacrifice and outstanding service to the nation.”
The promotion took place on Wednesday, December 24, 2025, at a special ceremony held at the National Police Headquarters to decorate the officers.
IGP in his address explained that the promotions reflect the Service’s resolve to acknowledge officers who demonstrate “perseverance, professionalism, resilience and exceptional commitment in the course of their work.”
He noted that the promotions are intended to motivate all personnel to serve with integrity, discipline, and dedication, with the assurance that hard work will be recognised.
He therefore urged all officers to continue to work hard in service to the nation.
